At Western Radiology we have high standards for image and report turnaround. Our images are taken digitally and so once they’re processed by our technicians, they are released immediately to the referrer. The report will be generated by our expert team of radiologists and delivered within 24 – 48 hours to your referrer. Some more detailed scans like cardiac scans may take an extra business day depending on the outcome. An appointment with your referrer will be required to obtain and discuss your results.
Electronic image delivery is commonplace now days in radiology and images are delivered securely, directly to your referrer. If you require a copy of your images, these can be placed on USB for $10. Please note, to avoid data security risks the USB must be provided by us, or new and unopened if by the patient. Speak to our friendly reception staff about your needs before you leave our practice.
